Happy April! It’s National Card and Letter Writing month so I thought it would be cool to create an everyday black and white design that is suitable for all occasions. I decided to honor the old fashioned emoticon motif and thought it was funny that I’m designing digital faces, while encouraging you to print it out analog. LOL. I crack myself up with irony! But seriously, I think this design is super versatile – cute, graphic, techy, masculine and old school at the same time. It’s also a throw back to the beginning Internet days – oh, nostalgia! A simple emoticon can really get your sentiment across, so print away and write to your friends and family!
The quick notecards are especially useful as you can print out a bunch, just cut in half and you’ve got a folded card for every occasion. Don’t forget to join in on all the challenges going on this month of April for letterwriting – send your thank you’s, birthday wishes and greetings all over the world with good ‘ole fashioned snail mail.
In celebration, there will be extra releases this month, so check back and tag #happyprintclub so we can see all of your snail mailing and papercrafting goodness. Happy printing!
